    Montana has benefited from strong conservative leadership, but last session a handful of Republicans joined forces with Democrats to push through the most complicated tax scheme in our state’s history, hurting working families, farmers, and small businesses

    Zack Wirth is stepping forward to represent the values of Senate District 9 with honesty, energy, and a commitment to putting families, farmers, and small businesses ahead of special interests and political elites.

    DEEP ROOTS

    Zack Wirth is a lifelong Montanan whose family has called this state home since the 1860s. Raised in Wolf Creek, he attended local schools and graduated from Helena Catholic Central High School. Zack enlisted in the Montana Army National Guard in 1972, serving honorably until 1979 and rising to the rank of Sergeant.

    For decades, Zack worked alongside his father and uncle in construction projects across Montana and Wyoming before purchasing his parents’ ranch in 1994. In 2000, he and his wife Patricia launched the Rocking Z Guest Ranch, a family business that continues to serve visitors and showcase Montana’s way of life. Together, they raised six children, all now married, and enjoy the blessing of 19 grandchildren.

    Zack is not a career politician. He is one of us, ready to fight for us.
